Give from a Donor-Advised Fund to NY Renews! 

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is like a charitable investment account set up to give directly to non-profits and public charities. Donors make tax-deductible contributions (cash, stocks, or other assets) to their DAF account. Then, they can invest the money and make grants over time. The fund is operated by the sponsoring organization. Donations are made to the fund, and then grants are distributed to recommended nonprofit organizations, like NY Renews. There are no limits to the contributions and grants that donors can make, and they can even set up recurring grants. 

DAFs allow you to support an organization whose mission you believe in through strategic giving, while consolidating your charitable giving and taking advantage of immediate tax benefits that allow you to distribute funds over time.
